Cleveland Style Polish Boy
Recipe Measurements
Serves 4
4 Hot Dog buns
1/4 cup of Coleslaw
1/4 cup of Spicy BBQ Sauce (if you cant find a variety that is spicy add 2 teaspoons of hot sauce to 1/4 cup of BBQ Sauce)
14 oz of Polska Kielbasa Sausage
8 oz of crinkle cut fries
Canola Oil (approx. 1 cup or enough to have 2 inches of oil in the pan)
Filled a frying pan with about an inch or two of oil and heat over med to medium high heat. If you have a deep fryer preheat to 350 degrees. Score the Kielbasa so that it cooks quicker. Carefully put the fries into the heated oil and cook until golden brown. Take out the fries and put them to drain on paper towel if you prefer. I like to cook my Kielbasa with the fries so the juice of the meat goes with the fries. Quickly pan fry the sausage until the skin gets crisp, turning over to fry the other side. Place hot dog bun on the foil and put the sausage on the bun then layer the fries on top of the sausage. Top with Coleslaw and Spicy BBQ Sauce, wrap if desire and enjoy!
