Ginger Tea for Anti Inflammatory




This is a very easy recipe that warms the body. I usually make this for myself and my Husband when we are feeling under the weather or our stomachs are not agreeing with something we ate.


Ginger Tea Recipe

16 oz of water

1 tablespoon of Ginger

1/4 teaspoon of Tumeric

1/2 teaspoon of Cinnamon

1.5 oz of Honey

1 tablespoon of Lemon Juice


Place the water in a small saucepan and add the roughly chopped ginger. Bring it to a boil for 5 minutes then bring the heat down to low. While the tea is simmering add Tumeric and Cinnamon, let the tea simmer for 5-10 minutes to get all of the good benefits from the tea. Turn off the heat and add lemon juice to the tea. Place honey in the container you want to serve or store the tea. Strain the ginger tea through a strainer to get the tea as free of debris as possible. Stir the tea and you are ready to serve. Enjoy!
