Cheesy Breakfast Burritos

Cheesy Breakfast Burritos Recipe

Serves 5

1 package of Flour Tortillas (8-10 shells)

1 16 oz of ground Breakfast Sausage

6 Eggs

Canola Oil (approx 1/2 tablespoon for pan frying)

16 oz of Hash Browns (cubed)

5 oz of cheese spread of your choice

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, take the cheese spread out of the fridge to start softening up, line a baking tray with Aluminum Foil and have toothpicks on standby. Begin to brown your breakfast sausage over medium/medium high heat and prepare to fry your hashbrowns in a separate pan. You want to get the potatoes golden brown and crispy so preheat that pan to medium high heat with a small amount of canola oil. Flip hashbrowns once you notice that the bottom edges are starting to get golden. Drain them on a paper towel. Leave the browned sausage in the pan that you cooked it in because you will use the fat from the sausage to cook the eggs. Pour the hashbrowns in the sausage pan and your eggs after you break them in a separate bowl (if you are feeling skilled you can break them in the pan directly but if you are a beginner it is safer to do it in a bowl to prevent egg shells from getting into the pan. Cook mixture on medium heat until eggs are fully cooked. Turn off the heat to the pan and leave it on the stove while you prepare your tortillas. Take a spoonful of spread and place it in the center of the tortilla. Carefully spread it until there is a 1/2 inch border free on the tortilla. Spoon the amount of sausage mix that you want in a line in the middle of the tortilla and overlap the sides to close it. Secure the burritos with a toothpick, if you dont have them make sure they are close together and touching each other. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the tortillas are lightly browned on the edges (ensuring that the cheese spread is melted). Enjoy!
