This recipe was so easy that I am ashamed I ever bought jarred sauce!!!! You also will be the hero for your meal this evening by following this recipe.
Alfredo Sauce from scratch
Recipe Measurements
Serves 2
2 tbsp. of salted butter
1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 clove of garlic (minced)
3/4 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp of sea salt
1 tbsp. of ground black peppercorns
On medium heat melt the 2 tbsp. of butter in the sauce pan. Add garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant. Add heavy cream to the pan and turn the heat up to medium high to get the cream to a boil while stirring to ensure cream is not burning the pan. Once it arrives to a boil turn the heat to low and whisk in the grated cheese, sea salt and peppercorns. The sauce is ready for the pasta of your choice or to cool down and use on pizza. Also good as a breadstick dip, enjoy!
